Federal Recruiting Forum
Most of us at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management can accept that our talents lay in recruiting, retaining and honoring a world-class workforce to serve the American people, but not in thinking up the most creative names for our initiatives. That is why we need your help!
As part of the Federal Hiring Reform, OPM is in the process of building a web-based recruiting resource for all of the folks who are responsible for recruiting, managers, employees, and of course human resource professionals. The tool will be an innovative, online portal that provides us all with the resources and tools needed to recruit diverse talent for federal employment. The website will also assist in the planning and implementation of recruiting strategies and promote interagency sharing/learning through online forums.
We have suggested names from our staff and portal designers, but we are also GovLoop fans and want to hear your ideas. The winner gets bragging rights and some OPM swag. Additionally, while this will not launch until the Summer, we are not keeping this a secret and welcome input in general. Don’t hesitate to give us general suggestions and tips.
Please post your ideas here.
